Library Study Rooms
The NTC Library has eight study rooms. Study rooms are available only to NTC students for the purpose of quiet space to study or for study groups and projects. Study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved. They are not available for club or organization meetings. All study rooms have a 2 hour limit. Please request exceptions at the front desk.
For a more constructive and collaborative atmosphere the majority of the study rooms and conference room are equipped with a magnetic glass whiteboard. Dry erase markers and a microfiber cloth are also available for your convenience. Additional dry erase markers can be checked out at the circulation desk.
First Floor Study Rooms
●Students using first floor study rooms can collaboratively but quietly work on projects together.
Second Floor Study Rooms
●Second floor study rooms are available for those who primarily need to work without distraction or need media equipment for video or DVD viewing.
Second Floor Conference Room
●The conference room is available for reserve and is meant to be used as quiet collaborative space. Outside the conference room is a schedule listing all reservations students have reserved. To reserve the conference room please see a library staff at the circulation desk, call the circulation desk at (715) 803-1115 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Library study rooms are not soundproof, so noise should be kept at a reasonable level.
Please do not leave your personal belongings unattended. The NTC library will not be responsible for any lost or damaged items. The NTC library also reserves the right to ask students to remove their unattended belongings if another student or group would like a study room or conference room.
