NTC and UW-Eau Claire Announce Transfer Opportunity for Human Services - Academic Students

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – (Wausau, Wis.) -- Northcentral Technical College (NTC) and the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire (UWEC) are proud to announce a seamless transfer agreement for NTC students who want to continue their education. The agreement gives NTC's Human Services - Academic students the opportunity to transfer to UWEC with junior status and earn a bachelor's degree in Social Work.
Qualifying students must maintain a cumulative 2.5 grade point average and must have begun NTC's Human Services - Academic program during the fall 2017 semester or later. A total of 64 credits can be transferred from NTC to UWEC, leaving an additional 60-63 credits needed for graduation at UWEC...

Automotive and Diesel Technology Students Can Transfer Through New Agreements

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) and Southern Illinois University Carbondale are pleased to announce two new transfer agreements for students completing NTC’s Automotive Technology and Diesel Technology programs. Through the new agreements, qualifying students will be able to earn their Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree at NTC and then continue their education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale to earn their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Automotive Technology degree while receiving in-state tuition with junior status.

NTC's Honor Society Recognized as Top 100 Chapter in the Nation

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College’s (NTC) honor society was named a Top 100 Chapter in the nation, making NTC the only college in Wisconsin to have a chapter that received the recognition. NTC’s Beta Rho Zeta chapter is part of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the international honor society of two-year colleges.
NTC’s Beta Rho Zeta members traveled to Nashville for the organization’s annual convention where the awards were presented. The group was also one of 50 colleges to take home the Distinguished College Project Awards, which supports the chapter’s relationship with administrative staff at the College.

NTC’s International Honor Society Chapter Takes Home Top Awards

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is pleased to announce that its international honor society chapter, Beta Rho Zeta, received 5-Star Status for the fourth consecutive year. The Beta Rho Zeta chapter is part of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the international honor society of two-year colleges.
In addition to receiving 5-Star Status, the chapter was also recognized for their work throughout the academic year at the Spring Phi Theta Kappa Leadership Convention, which was recently held at NTC. Electromechanical Students Can Transfer to UW-Stout

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) and the University of Wisconsin – Stout (UW-Stout) are pleased to announce a new transfer opportunity for students completing NTC’s Electromechanical Technology Associate Degree. Through this unique partnership, students can complete their first two years of college at NTC, transfer to UW-Stout and earn their Bachelor’s degree by completing an additional 78-79 credits.
Students can choose to stay at NTC to complete another 29 credits after earning their associate degree, leaving only 50 credits to complete at UW-Stout.
