NTC Announces 2017 Robert C. Altman Educational Excellence Award Recipient

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2017 Robert C. Altman Educational Excellence award: Valerie Palarski, Nursing Instructor at NTC.
 
Sponsored by the NTC Foundation, the award is named after a former President of the Wisconsin Valley Trust Company and past member of the NTC Foundation Board of Directors. The award is presented annually to an NTC faculty member who has been singled out by students and peers as an outstanding educator and innovative facilitator of learning. Church Mutual Extends 100 Percent Paid Tuition at NTC Through IT Scholars Program

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Church Mutual Insurance Company will extend a program that offers 100 percent paid college tuition to qualified students at Northcentral Technical College, Church Mutual announced today.
 
The IT Scholars Program is designed to support the educational goals of graduating high school seniors aspiring to a career in IT and enrolling in either the IT-Software Developer or IT-Network Specialist programs at NTC during the fall 2018 semester. In exchange for free tuition, participants work part-time in Church Mutual’s IT department while attending college at NTC.

NTC and UW-Oshkosh Announce Engineering-Related Transfer Agreements

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) and the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh are pleased to announce two transfer agreements for students completing NTC’s Electromechanical Technology and Mechanical Design Engineering Technology Associate Degrees. Through these new agreements, qualifying students will be able to earn their Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree at NTC and then continue their education at UW-Oshkosh to earn a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in either Electrical Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

NTC and UWGB Announce Transfer Option for Human Services Students

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) and the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay (UWGB) are pleased to announce a transfer agreement for students completing NTC’s Human Services – Academic Associate Degree. Through the new agreement, qualifying students will be able to earn their Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree at NTC and then continue their education at UWGB to earn a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree.
