The WI DOJ 720 Academy curriculum document includes phases, topics and codes for outcomes and objectives. The WTCS and the WI DOJ subject matter experts agreed to use the same convention. Competencies within the courses are coded to match WI DOJ 720 Academy standards. You may be considered for admission to the Academy if you: are a full or part-time law enforcement officer, have graduated from NTC's Criminal Justice Studies associate degree program or have earned at least 60 college credits or the equivalent.

This program requires completion of 60 college credits prior to admission. These 60 college credits can be from any combination of academic areas.

Criminal Background Check

This program requires a criminal background check. Acceptance to Northcentral Technical College will not be denied based on a criminal background, however, a check may be required for placement at clinical sites or field experiences.

Additional Academy Requirements

An interview, fingerprinting and a physical fitness test are required prior to admission to this program.
