English Language Learning

The English Language Learning (ELL) program at NTC is designed for adults whose native language is not English. Classes are offered at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. ELL instructors and staff will help you set goals and choose classes to meet your needs.

Our Primary Offerings

ELL classes offered include AM and PM classes from Level 1: Beginning through Level 4: Advanced. Each level of ELL includes reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Class levels are dependent upon placement testing that happens at orientation.

The only cost associated with the class is the cost of the class book.

Additional Offerings

NTC also offers civics modules for ELL students. Civics modules are intended to provide a functioning understanding of English in relation to topics like, Health Care, Banking, Local Government, Education, and the Library.

What can completing the ELL program accomplish?
