NTC annually offers EMS refresher courses for EMS professionals seeking recertification. Courses are offered on site at your department or business, or are held at NTC’s Public Safety Center of Excellence or campus locations.
Emergency Medical Responder Refresher
This course serves to re-verify the skills and knowledge of the Emergency Medical Responder in the areas of First Aid, CPR and AED. This course is intended for individuals currently certified as an Emergency Medical Responder seeking recertification.View Course
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Refresher
This course refreshes the knowledge and practical skills of the EMT with the most current protocols. For EMTs renewing their certification, this course satisfies the requirements for state and national certification.View Course
Intermediate Technician Refresher
This course refreshes the knowledge and practical skills of the EMT Intermediate Technician with the most current protocols. Individuals interested in this course must also take an EMT Refresher or demonstrate evidence of successfully completing the EMT Refresher within a certain time frame.View Course
EMT Paramedic Refresher
This course serves to re-verify the skills and knowledge of the EMT Paramedic. This course is intended for individuals currently certified as an EMT Paramedic seeking recertification.View Course
Special Operations Tactical Rescue Technician (TEMS)
NTC offers this course to train licensed EMS personnel to operate as the medical member of a special operations tactical team. TEMS is a comprehensive course that empowers the tactical rescuer to become adaptable and successful in a high-threat environment.
This course meets the Wisconsin Department of Health, EMS Unit requirements for TEMS credentialing within the state of Wisconsin.
All classes are held at the state-of-the art NTC Public Safety Center of Excellence and are restricted to current licensed Emergency Medical Technicians or Law Enforcement officers, with proof of certification required on the first day of the course.View Course
