Housing & Homelessness Coalition Point in Time Count and Project Connect. On the night of January 23, share resources & conduct a survey with those experiencing homelessness. New volunteer training will be offered. For more information, contact MaiGer at 715-848-2927 or mmoua@unitedwaymc.org.

United Way RSVP Martin Luther King Day of Service. On January 21 from 9:30-11:30am, volunteers will pack food for children in need at Blessings in a Backpack (4704 Camp Phillips Road, Weston).  Come give your time to a great cause and learn about BIB. English Language Tutors.  Help needed in the DC Everest School District for an after school program consisting of ESL adults and parents in need of better communication between students and the school. Program will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45 pm-5pm. Contact Connie at 715-679-6170 or mclitofwausau@gmail.com. 

Community Based Mentors for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Provide "Littles" with time and attention, typically 2-4 times per month. Casual weekly or bi-weekly outings, filled with conversations and shared activities, help children manage everyday challenges that are part of growing up. Enjoy Knitting, Yoga, or Dance? The Boys and Girls Club would LOVE to have volunteers come in and share their interest once a week with K-5th grade students from 4-5pm. Contact Mao at 715-845-2582 ext. 213 or Maot@bgclub.com.

In-Kind Donated Items Needed

Fleece Blankets or Throws. North Central Health Care greatly needs blankets to share with residents. Contact Kathy at 715 848 4450 or kdesantis@norcen.org.

Step Stools and Extension Ladder. The Marathon County Historical Society is looking for step stools and ladders. Contact Janet at 715 842 5750 or info@marathoncountyhistory.org.

Office supplies.  White copy paper, colored copy paper, printable address label sheets (2 5/8" 1"), stamps, etc. are very helpful to the Big Brothers Big Sisters. Contact Beth at 715-848-7207 or bethk@bbbsncw.org.
