Read to Kids Over the Lunch Hour.  Reading scores improve and positive relationships are built on weekdays at Mosinee and Marathon Elementary Schools. For more information, contact Krista at 715-298-5719 or kmischo@unitedwaymc.org.

Committee Member Monk Botanical Gardens.  Serve on one of many committees to help influence the direction and success of the Gardens.  Committees include:  Grounds, Finance, Programs, Education, Fund Development, Marketing, and Facilities. Contact Darcie at 715-261-6309 or info@monkgardens.org.  

9th Annual Eastbay Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk. The Marathon County Hunger Coalition, an initiative of United Way of Marathon County, needs volunteers for this important and fun Thanksgiving morning event! On-Call Volunteer Victim Advocate.  Accompany victims to emergency department at the hospital and/or police department and provide compassionate understanding and emotional support. Training sessions provided.  Contact Melissa at 715-842-5663 or melissa@womenscommunity.org.

Greeters at North Central Health Care. Welcome and direct guests during morning or afternoon volunteer shifts. If you are friendly, comfortable on phones and computers contact Laural 715.848.4450 or volunteer@norcen.org.

In-Kind Donated Items Needed

Detergent/Cleaning Supplies for The Women's Community. High efficiency (HE) laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets (fragrance free), toilet bowl cleaner, bleach, dish detergent, and toilet paper are products in great demand! Contact Melissa at 715-842-5663 or melissa@womenscommunity.org. 

Warm Clothes for People in Transition. The Open Door needs warm socks, jackets, hats, gloves and long underwear for people who are making the transition out of incarceration. Help them meet their basic needs and move ahead! Contact Anne at 715-848-4044 or opendoor319@gmail.com.

Adult Incontinence Products. Good News Project’s Health Equipment Lending Program is in need of incontinence briefs (especially XL with tab closures). They also accept bed pads and wipes. Contact Megan at 715-843-5985 or megan@goodnewswi.com.
