JumpStart is an online orientation to getting started at Northcentral Technical College. You will learn about important logins, become familiar with resources and services the college offers, and understand how to connect with advisors.

Earn Credit For What You Know
Earn credit for what you already know by testing out of a class, or by providing national exam scores or industry credentials. To determine if assessments based on your work/life experience are available for courses in your program, view the test-out options on one of our program pages.

Academic Advising
Getting started can be tough. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed or not quite sure where to turn, reach out to your academic advisor. They can help with course and program advising, academic concerns, credit for prior learning, developing student educational plans or referral to campus/community resoruces.

Office 365 Student
Office 365 is provided free to all NTC students. This short handout will guide you through installation and sign in.

FAFSA Information Sheet
Find out how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and accept your awards.

Refunds may include but are not limited to your FAFSA award, tuition overpayment or a dropped classes. Once you are accepted into a financial aid eligible program and enrolled in classes, a refund selection package will be mailed to you in a green envelope from BankMobile Disbursements. PLEASE DO NOT THROW THIS AWAY. Review this brochure for the details about how to receive your refund.
