Manufacturing Basics Test-Out Options

MANUFACTURING PROCESSES (10623175)

Credits: 3.00

Explores the selected methods used in industry today to develop raw materials into the parts used in a range of products. The learner will analyze what the various machines and processes are and how they are used, not on how to operate the machinery.

PRECISION MEASURING (10623124)

Credits: 1.00

Introduces the different aspects of utilizing a precision measurement system in the manufacturing process. The learner will investigate different measurements systems and procedures used to control measurement processes. Learning activities will include hands on measuring activities, gage r&r, and developing procedures for management of the system.
