Introduces the principles of diesel engine theory. Areas of focus include the design and operating principles of the engine, cooling, fuel, intake, exhaust systems and lubrication systems. Learners identify governmental emissions regulations and solutions used by agriculture equipment industry to meet environmental challenges.

Condition: Accepted into the Agriculture Equipment Technician Technical Diploma, or with Dean approval.
