Lean Sigma Accelerated Certificate Training

Thursdays, August 13, 2020 - June 18, 2021
This accelerated, hybrid format is designed specifically for organizations who want to implement Lean Six Sigma. In the bi-weekly 4-hour sessions, participants will use the tools of Lean and Six Sigma to identify opportunities and improve processes for a specific workplace project. This certificate consists of four courses: Lean, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and 5S Project.

Auto Collision Basics Training Pathways Program

Tuesdays and Thursdays, February 16 - September 2, 2021
This new training program was developed to grow Wisconsin’s pool of skilled Auto Collision workers. Participants will learn an industry-approved, technical-college-backed training curriculum hosted at local repairs shops and taught by experts currently working in the field. Graduates will receive an Auto Collision Basics certificate from Northcentral Technical College and will be guaranteed placement into NTC’s Advanced certificate program starting in Fall 2021; additional opportunities for higher-level specialized training may also become available.

Veterinary Technician Information Session

Thursday, February 25 – 8:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. (Noon), or 4:00 p.m.
Northcentral Technical College (NTC) will replace our current Veterinary Science Associate Degree with a Veterinary Technician Associate Degree. Due to increased academic rigor and anticipated program accreditation, we are updating the admission requirements. Join us to learn about the new program and admission requirements and to have your questions answered.

OSHA 10 / 30 - General Industry

Starting March 18, 2021
Occupational safety is important in every work environment. Designed for general industry workers, foremen, job supervisors and anyone involved in general industry, this course provides an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by the Occupational Safety Health Act (OSHA) 29 CFR 1910.

Tractor Safety

Saturdays, March 20 - April 24 (no class 4/3); 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
This course provides youth between the ages of 12 to 16 with the necessary requirements to be certified for compliance under Wisconsin Act 455 to operate tractors or self-propelled machinery for their own family on public roads.
