Auto Collision Basics Training Pathways Program

Tuesdays and Thursdays, February 16 - September 2, 2021
This new training program was developed to grow Wisconsin’s pool of skilled Auto Collision workers. Participants will learn an industry-approved, technical-college-backed training curriculum hosted at local repairs shops and taught by experts currently working in the field. Graduates will receive an Auto Collision Basics certificate from Northcentral Technical College and will be guaranteed placement into NTC’s Advanced certificate program starting in Fall 2021; additional opportunities for higher-level specialized training may also become available.

College Exploration Days

Discover all Northcentral Technical College (NTC) has to offer during College Exploration Days! This event will be held in-person with an online option for those who want to customize a virtual experience through Zoom. High school students and their parents, as well as returning adults are invited to tour any NTC campus (Wausau, Phillips, Medford, Spencer, Antigo and Wittenberg) or NTC's Agriculture Center of Excellence during this two-day event. To ensure social distancing and safety measures, pre-registration is required.

QPR Suicide Prevention Training

QPR is a training program designed to enhance the general awareness about suicide through public education. Whether a teen or elder adult, we can all become aware of the warning signs of suicidal thoughts and learn three basic intervention skill that can avert the tragedy of suicide.

Lean Sigma Accelerated Certificate Training

Thursdays, August 12, 2021 - June 16, 2022
This accelerated, hybrid format is designed specifically for organizations who want to implement Lean Six Sigma. In the weekly 2-hour sessions, participants will use the tools of Lean and Six Sigma to identify opportunities and improve processes for a specific workplace project. This certificate consists of four courses: Lean, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and 5S Project.
