Builds high-level clinical skills in animal handling, medical nursing and disease processes. Learners will perform IV catheter placement, lab tests, calculate medication doses, and simulate CPR and animal emergency response. Additional skills in constructing a sterile surgical field, instrumentation identification, and surgical wraps are performed.
