Description

Interpret medical terminology as it relates to organs and organ functions. Through a variety of learning activities, learners will examine the body systems of warm-blooded vertebrates. Specific body systems covered throughout this course are; nervous, immunity/lymphatic/hematopoietic, musculoskeletal, urogenital/ reproductive, gastrointestinal, cardiac/respiratory, special senses, and endocrine. Throughout the course, learners will examine the function of body systems as a whole.

Condition: Accepted into the Dairy Science or Veterinary Science Associate Degree program, or with Dean approval.
