Strengthens the learner's knowledge of how structural steel is used to construct and support frames for commercial and industrial buildings. The learners will complete project drawings from beginning to end. Learners will be introduced to basic components of structural design including beam/load classifications, force calculations/formulas, load determinations, beam/section properties, beam/column/connection sizing, etc.
