Understand the basic human anatomy and the physiology of the skin, especially how the circulatory, endocrine, respiratory, digestive, and muscular systems function. This course also looks at skin conditions and common disorders for learners to identify. Learners will also be learning about machines and equipment used in this spa industry. Learners will also be introduced to safety, sanitation and sterilization. This is required by the state of Wisconsin statues.
