The Community Safety Simulation Center (CSSC) experience provides participants with an opportunity to engage in an immersive simulation environment designed to develop and practice critical skills required for crisis and emergency situations. Scenario categories will be determined by CSSC staff based on the client’s organizational focus, specific needs, and participant roles. Scenario categories may include, but are not limited to: - Active Threat Response - Crisis Communication - De-escalation Techniques - Mental Health Crisis Management Following each simulation experience, CSSC staff will facilitate structured debriefing sessions with participants. These debriefings will review participant actions, promote self-reflection, and encourage group discussion to reinforce learning objectives.
