This 5-hour NFPA 70E training course provides essential knowledge on electrical safety in the workplace, based on the latest NFPA 70E Standard. It is designed for employees who work on or near energized equipment and face electrical hazards. Participants will learn to recognize risks such as shock, arc flash, and arc blast, and how to reduce them through safe work practices, proper planning, and appropriate PPE. The course also covers OSHA requirements and their alignment with NFPA 70E. Topics include hazard recognition, risk assessment, lockout/tagout, approach boundaries, and PPE selection, helping participants apply safe practices and reduce the risk of injury.
