Expands developing language skills by continuing the development of vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar essentials. Use of the target language in conversation, reading, and writing increases. Includes additional history and cultural aspects of the people who speak Spanish in the US and around the world. Task-based instruction and individual lab practice required. Prerequisite: Spanish 1 with a C or better, or equivalent (1 year of high school Spanish with a C or better; 1 semester of college Spanish with a grade of C or better).
