This course is the second course in the Lean Sigma Certificate. All of the concepts covered in the American Society for Quality Six Sigma Green Belt Certification body of knowledge are covered. Quality improvement tools used in continuous improvement efforts will be applied to classroom examples as well as actual workplace improvement opportunities. Teamwork, cost of quality, PDCA, root cause analysis, statistical process control, ISO 9000 and customer satisfaction are just some of the concepts covered in this fast-paced, hands-on course. Students will be assigned to a team at the beginning of the course. In many cases, this team will be comprised of coworkers.
