Develops an in-depth understanding of factors that affect global transportation of both imports and exports. Learners analyze and select the proper mode of transportation consistent with the goods being transported. Learners identify effective procedures, examine the flow of documents, product classifications and transportation pricing. They gain an understanding of Incoterms, methods of payment, how to select and manage freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers. Focuses on examining global transportation risks and identifying sustainability initiatives allowing organization to move their products affordably, securely and within budget.
