Examines warehouse operations fundamentals to gain an understanding of the physical, technological, process, and safety considerations of warehouse/distribution operations. Learners examine and demonstrate a design plan that incorporates: effective and efficient facility configuration, storage and handling techniques, operating activities, metrics, customer service considerations, human and capital asset requirements and the role of distribution operations in different industries.
