Optimize proficiency development in the application of tooling and processes on the engine lathe, vertical milling machine and surface grinder. Manufacture parts to print specifications while developing problem solving skills. Basic Tool & Die concepts will be utilized during this course. Course stresses working with precision measurement equipment including computer measuring equipment while providing basic CNC machining skills.

Conditions
Pre/Corequisite: 32420339 MACHINE TOOL PROGRAMMING 1. Condition: Accepted into the Basic Machining TD, Machine Tool Technics TD, Machine Tool Operation TD or Manufacturing Technician TD, or with Dean or Associate Dean approval.
