In this course, students will review the updated ASE guidelines for evaluating left ventricular (LV) diastolic function and estimating left atrial (LA) pressure, explain the pathophysiology of diastolic dysfunction, including the progression from normal to Grades I, II, and III. and identify required echocardiographic parameters for assessing diastolic function, including Mitral Inflow (E/A, DT), Tissue Doppler (e'), LA Volume Index (LAVI), and TR velocity.
