Provides the learner with opportunities to practice the principles and procedures of laboratory medicine in a clinical laboratory setting including the operation of state of the art instrumentation and the use of laboratory information systems to report results. The fourteen competencies will be divided between Clinical Experience 1, Clinical Experience 2 and Clinical Experience 3. Order that competencies will be covered vary based on staffing at clinical sites.
Introduces the concepts of Industry 4.0 and the key aspects that workers will need to be prepared for in the intelligent factory setting. Robotic automation, smart manufacturing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts will be explored.
Focuses on integration of a complete automated manufacturing cell. Typical components include programmable controllers, robot, sensors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics, hard automation, control wiring and vision systems. Students plan, wire, program, troubleshoot and develop an automated manufacturing process based on the “product” chosen by the group. All required programming and documentation for the entire automation system is required
Program drive parameters for a drive application. This course will teach students how to create a custom parameter group based upon drive applications. Throughout this course, the instructor will cover a range of topics from establishing communications with a PowerFlex 525 drive via a USB connection and Ethernet/IP network to test parameters of a PowerFlex 525 drive and control a drive in STUDIO 5000.
This course covers those skills needed for success in Calculus and many application areas on a baccalaureate level. Topics include the real and complex number systems, polynomials, exponents, radicals, solving equations and inequalities (linear and nonlinear), relations and functions, systems of equations and inequalities (linear and nonlinear), matrices, graphing, conic sections, sequences and series, combinatories and the binomial theorem.
This course offers algebra content with applications. Topics include properties of real numbers, order of operations, algebraic solution for linear equations and inequalities, operations with polynomial and rational expressions, operations with rational exponents and radicals, algebra of inverse, logarithmic and exponential functions.
Introduces the concept of setting up and programming various safety devices including GuardMaster Smart sensors, Programmable safety relays and safety PLC’s, The course will focus on how to setup, program and integrate safety components into your automation project.
Organize and develop FactoryTalk View Site Edition (SE) applications. This course provides opportunities for learners to organize and develop FactoryTalk View SE applications. During class, learners will have the opportunity to practice the skills used to create/build graphic displays. Learners will learn how to configure alarms and security, trend data, and test their application using FactoryTalk View SE Client. Learners will also work with RSLinx Enterprise communications software
Continuation of SCADA Systems 1, learners will organize and develop FactoryTalk View Site Edition (SE) network/server-based application. Learners will have the opportunity to practice the skills needed to create/build detailed graphic displays, trend charts and data logs. Learners will learn how to configure alarms and set up system security, build data logs, and test their application using FactoryTalk View SE Network Distributed Application.
