Cross-Stitch Ornament Workshop 60815113

  • This beginner-friendly workshop introduces participants to the art of cross-stitch through the creation of a 3-inch holiday ornament. Participants can choose from three seasonal designs—a gnome, a tree, or a snowflake—and will complete their ornament during the class. The instructor will provide step-by-step guidance and demonstrations covering essential techniques such as basic stitching, counting stitches, securing threads, trimming fabric, and attaching ribbon for hanging. By the end of the session, participants will take home a finished ornament and the skills to continue exploring cross-stitch on their own.

  • Students will receive instruction in techniques that are applicable to law enforcement from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, and mixed martial arts disciplines and build on the basic foundations of defense and arrest tactics principles taught by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board. Students will also be encouraged to bring in real life examples of situations and scenarios they have experienced to work through during open mat time during class and find new techniques to utilize in the scenario. Students are required to be sworn law enforcement officers or jailers or be certifiable as law enforcement officers or jailers.
