This hands-on course includes an anatomy review of their origins, insertions, and actions; discussion of indications and the importance of client feedback; instructor demonstration; and guided practice time. Students will be able to describe multifidus attachments, layered relationships and actions, locate the multifidus region using bony landmarks, compare prone, side-lying and seated access, and choose positioning based on comfort and goal, and demonstrate at least two approaches (compression and longitudinal gliding using fingers or tools) with appropriate dose.
