Northcentral Technical College offers Group Dynamics, Multiple Offender, Traffic Safety-Point Reduction and Juvenile AODA courses. All courses are approved by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
Group Dynamics Course Information
Group Dynamics is an alcohol/drug education course for those persons convicted of operation while intoxicated (OWI) and who are identified as irresponsible users of alcohol and/or drugs by an assessment agency. The main goal of this course is to develop an individualized plan to modify or eliminate inappropriate behaviors and attitudes related to drinking and driving. This course is open only to those who have had a court-ordered assessment from an approved assessment agency.
Important Information
- You must have a current Order for Assessment and Driver Safety Plan to register for this course.
- Failure to remain enrolled in a class at all times will result in a noncompliance being reported to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. In order to be placed back in to compliance with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, you must re-enroll in a class that fits within your required assessment deadline, and pay the class fee in full.

- Any required books will be included in the class fees and provided on the first day of class.
- Prior to course registration, you must submit your 72-Hour Check-In Form.
Multiple Offender Course Information
Multiple Offender is a specialized education course for individuals who have experienced two or more operating while intoxicated (OWI) charges. The course will examine individual attitudes toward drinking/driving and develop a personal plan to identify and change behaviors that lead to repeat offenses. The participation of a Concerned Other (minimum of two sessions) is required. The course concludes with a follow up evaluation three months after the last classroom session. This course is open only to those who have had a court-ordered assessment from an approved assessment agency.

Traffic Safety — Point Reduction Course Information
Traffic Safety — Point Reduction course is designed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to review basic safe driving concepts and may be attended by anyone. Emphasis will be placed on how to develop a personal change plan to reduce the risk of traffic violations and crashes. Upon successful completion of the class, the student may request a three (3) point reduction of the demerit points on their license. Note: This course can be taken for point reduction purposes once every three years. This course is voluntary and does not require a Driver Safety Plan or 72-hour check in.

Juvenile AODA Course Information
Juvenile AODA course is Wisconsin’s Underage Alcohol & Other Drugs Education course which is designed to promote the well-being of individuals under 21 years of age who have been cited for alcohol and other drug-related violations. These violations may include Juvenile Alcohol (possession, consumption, purchasing or attempting to purchase) and Underage Alcohol Operation (Absolute Sobriety Law violation), among others. The course’s goals are to educate young people about the risks and consequences of alcohol and other drug use and to help them to develop skills and a personal action plan to avoid future problems.
