Utilizes GMAW and SMAW Virtual Welding Simulators to explore important operator variables for each process. Work and travel angle, contact to work distance, arc length, travel speed, and electrode position relative to joint type and position will be introduced and practiced. This repetitive practice of machine setup and muscle memory will prepare the learner to transition into live arc welding.
