Description
This course studies the various types of adhesive and the adhesion processes that are used in the wood products manufacturing industry. Selecting the proper adhesive for the job is stressed. Students will learn to operate a finger jointer, clamp carrier and will perform adhesive bond evaluations utilizing mechanical testing equipment.
Prerequisite: 10-465-100 WOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY.
