Join us for a unique class learning about hostas and touring the Shade Hosta Garden at Monk Gardens!

Hostas are a popular garden plant for very simple reasons, they thrive in shade and part-shade, they are extremely easy to care for and, as perennials, hostas come back every year with proper care. Our instructor, Pat Gwidt, will provide an overview of the types of hostas, how to grow them, what kind of environment they need, and how to care for them. Pat is a longtime member of the American Hosta Society and the Green and Gold Hosta Society.

Class starts at 6pm at the NTC Wausau Campus for a lesson on Growing and Caring for Hostas followed by a tour of the Hosta Garden at Monk Gardens.
