Learn all about the different tesserae options, cutting glass, breaking plates and hot to glue pieces to a flower pot. The end result? A beautiful mosaic flower pot you can take home and plant flowers in for display! All supplies are provided

Creating Temepered Glass Mosaics
Tempered glass, otherwise known as crash glass, is a versatile material that when used as an overlay adds shimmer to an acrylic painting. Students will use tempered glass over an acrylic paint creation to produce compositions filled with unexpected visual interest. All supplies are provided.

Painting Classes
Exploring Alcohol Ink
This class will start with information about the inks, substrates and tools used. Alcohol ink is unpredictable and so much fun to create with. Abstract shapes, whimsical flowers, land and waterscapes will all be covered in class. Substrates used will include Yupo, canvas panel, and tile. All supplies are provided.

Watercolor
This class will explore watercolor painting techniques and color application. Students will have hands-on experience in experimenting with pigments and masking methods. All supplies are provided.

Acrylic Painting
Students will be using acrylic paint and working on a 12x16 canvas. All supplies are provided. Bring an apron or wear clothes you can get messy in. No prior experience is needed!

Cancellation Policy
An attendee must notify NTC of a cancellation prior to the beginning of the event in order to have fees removed or a refund issued. Attendees who do not attend without notifying Continuing Education will be responsible for payment of all course fees and will not be eligible for a refund.
