The Sawing, Edging, and Trimming workshop designed to improve lumber processing skills and increase mill profitability. Participants will review the fundamentals of NHLA grading rules, learn practical strategies for sawing for grade, and develop a stronger understanding of edging and trimming requirements. The course combines classroom instruction with live sawmill demonstrations to reinforce techniques that enhance board quality, reduce common processing mistakes, and maximize lumber recovery.
