The Milestone program is designed for recent alternative high school graduates. Businesses, foundations, and NTC partnered to help these individuals participate in college classes for free and be offered full-time employment upon completion of the program. Join us as we recognize the accomplishments of these students during a graduation ceremony.

About the Milestone Project:
Through the Milestone program, students earn seven college credits over a 12 week time period. The six students who participated in the program completed 20 hours per week of classes at NTC and then 20 hours per week of on-the-job work at a local employer. The project is a collaboration between the Central Wisconsin Metal Manufactures Alliance (CWIMMA), Northcentral Workforce Development Board, NTC, and was also partially funded through the Ester B.A. Greenheck Foundation, Dudley Foundation, Wausau Community Foundation, Judd S. Alexander Foundation and the Dwight Davis Foundation.
