New Programs for Fall 2024

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – The fall semester begins at Northcentral Technical College (NTC) Monday, August 26. Admissions staff is available to help prospective students get started, answer questions and apply for financial aid. Prospective students are encouraged to finalize their fall schedules by Monday, August 19.

Additionally, NTC is pleased to announce two newly developed programs based on industry and community feedback that begin during the fall 2024 semester:

Respiratory Therapy Associate Degree

This program will prepare learners to work in a team of health care professionals to evaluate, treat and manage patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders in a wide variety of clinical settings. Learn how to assess patients, provide respiratory care and evaluate patients’ responses to care.

Potential occupation: Respiratory Therapist

Funeral Services Associate Degree

This program is offered in partnership with Milwaukee Area Technical College and prepares learners to enter the funeral profession. Learn about the compassionate care needed to assist individuals and families after the death of a loved one, including embalming and restorative art.

Potential occupation: Funeral Director

Spring 2024 President’s List for Outstanding Academic Achievement

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is pleased to announce the President’s List for outstanding academic achievement for the spring term. The following students enrolled in a post-secondary program, earned a 3.75 grade point average or above and successfully completed a minimum of six credits during the spring term.

Innovative Online Hospitality Management Program

(WAUSAU, Wis.) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is pleased to announce the launch of a new online-focused Hospitality Management program, offering a comprehensive two-year associate degree. This program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the rapidly expanding hospitality industry in Central Wisconsin and beyond.

Alternative High School Students Showcase the Beauty in Welding

Beauty and art may not be the first words that come to mind when thinking about welding, generally seen as an industrial field. But students from Northcentral Technical College’s (NTC) Alternative High School recently completed a project using welding to create a stunning sculpture for the Center for the Visual Arts.
