Class Attendance
Students who have never attended class, or for an online class have not completed a documented academic activity by the No Show (NS) deadline, will be considered a “No Show” and will lose access to the class without the option for reentry.
Please note that students who earn a “No Show” grade are still responsible for course tuition and fees. Students who do not plan to attend a course must officially drop the course. Not attending class or being reported as a No Show does not constitute a withdrawal.
Dropping a Class
If you wish to drop a course once it is underway, you may withdraw within the first 80% of the course. Please follow the procedural information below to officially withdraw from the course and to view course refund and withdrawal policies. If you cease attending and do not officially withdraw from the course before it is 80% complete, you may receive an “F” grade for the course.
Procedure for Dropping a Class
To drop a class in Workday, follow the add/drop instructions.
To drop a class by phone, call 715.803.1646.
To receive a 100 percent refund, students must officially drop the class prior to the class start date. Students who drop after the class begins are responsible for a portion of tuition and fees according to the refund policy. See the refund policy for specific refund dates and percentages.
