Northcentral Technical College (NTC) programs that lead to licensure and/or advanced practice certification/endorsement, whether delivered online or face-to-face, satisfy the academic requirements for those credentials set forth by the State of Wisconsin.
Requirements for licensure and/or advanced practice certification/endorsement eligibility vary from one profession to another and from state to state. If you are interested in a program at NTC that leads to professional licensure and/or have a license and seek advanced practice certification/endorsement, please contact the appropriate licensing body in the state where you intend to practice to verify that the desired NTC program will meet the eligibility criteria for the credentials you seek.
Advanced EMT
The Advanced EMT program meets the educational requirements for licensure or certification to be employed/practice in the state of Wisconsin and in the following states: Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota. Passing the Cognitive and Psychomotor exam through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and applying for license reciprocity within the states listed above is also required for licensure in those states.

Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement 720 Academy
The Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement 720 Academy program meets the educational requirements for licensure or certification to be employed/practice in the state of Wisconsin.
Dental Hygienist
The Dental Hygienist program meets the educational requirements for licensure or certification to be employed/practice in the state of Wisconsin.
Dental Therapy
The Dental Therapy program meets the educational requirements for licensure or certification to be employed/practice in the state of Wisconsin.
Emergency Medical Technician
The Emergency Medical Technician program meets the educational requirements for licensure or certification to be employed/practice in the state of Wisconsin and in the following states: Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota. Passing the Cognitive and Psychomotor exam through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and applying for license reciprocity within the states listed above is also required for licensure in those states.

The Medical Assistant program meets the licensure or certification educational requirements in all 50 states.
Medical Laboratory Technician
The Medical Laboratory Technician program meets the licensure or certification educational requirements in all 50 states. In states where a license is required, the program meets requirements provided a student passes the national examination.
Nursing
The Nursing program meets the educational requirements for licensure or certification to be employed/practice in the state of Wisconsin and in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
