Description
Introduces the learner to industry certifications that will enhance employability. Learners will be given the opportunity to review for and earn the Certified Bookkeeper Designation. This certification provides verification that a bookkeeper has the proven skills and knowledge needed to perform key accounting functions, including basic payroll, through the adjusted trial balance. Learners will continue to build their employment readiness through soft skill development, as well as mock interviews.
Prerequisites: 10-101-115 INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTING and 10-101-181 QUICKBOOKS 2. Pre/Corequisite: 10-101-110 ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS.
