Provides an introduction to marketing principles in the agribusiness industry. Students examine how the unique characteristics of agricultural products influence marketing decisions from farm to consumer. Topics include market research, pricing, product differentiation, promotion, distribution, consumer behavior, branding, supply chains, and the effects of policy, technology, and sustainability. Students also explore career opportunities within their program and develop a strategic college plan.
