Explores the relationship between dairy cattle nutrition and forage production. Learners study nutrient requirements, ration balancing, and feeding methods alongside crop and forage management principles for key Midwest crops. Emphasis is placed on optimizing forage quality, grazing systems, and feed technologies to support efficient and sustainable dairy production.
