This course covers the principles of Ideal Mechanical Advantage (IMA) and Actual Mechanical Advantage (AMA) for a series of simple machines. The use of the simple machines and their application into larger complex machine design is discussed and demonstrated. Emphasis will be given to the practical application and analysis of mechanical systems.
