Explores the impact of hearing loss on the physical, mental, psychological and cultural growth of the individual. Examines the anatomy of the ear, physiology, audiology, etiology, psychology and culture of hearing loss. Examine the medical genetic/hereditary causes of deafness. Investigate the functions of assisted listening and signaling devices. Differentiate the audiograms of sensorineural, conductive, and mixed hearing loss.
