Welding

Develop print interpretation skills needed in metal fabrication. Learners study orthographic projection, dimensioning, welding symbols and bill of materials. Learners apply concepts in hands-on activities, practicing basic layout skills and safe operation of fabrication equipment.

Notes

  • This course is offered as self-paced learning. Lab competencies will be completed in the Welding Lab at the Wausau Campus. Rooms for this class will be H127 and H136. This lab is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 12:00PM-8:00PM and Thursday 12:00PM-5:00PM. Contact advisor Houa Lee with questions.
