IT - Information Security 9 Credit Certificate
The IT-Information Security Certificate addresses today’s security needs related to Security +, Command Line Shells and Shell Scripting, and Ethical Hacking. Students develop skills to program for security, detect vulnerability, and mitigate risk. Upon completing this certificate, students will be ready to sit for the CompTIA Security+ industry certification. In order to be successful in this certificate, students should have completed Linux Server 1 (10-150-122), CISCO 2 – Network Communications 2 (10-150-186), and Windows Server 1 (10-150-121) OR have the appropriate industry experience to be successful.
