On October 18th or 19th high school teachers are invited to sign up for a two-hour experience between 8:15 and 2:00 PM for their students. During their time on campus, students will experience NTC’s state-of-the-art Wood Technology Center of Excellence and will be able to:
- Gain an appreciation for what makes WOOD such a unique natural material.
- Learn why the forest products industry is important and why students are needed in this field.
- Explore different areas of the industry that interest you and how our programs can connect you to a rewarding career.
- Practice skill competitions for the Wood Olympics being held in the spring semester.
- Tour the Wood Technology Center of Excellence
*Please note that groups are limited to 40 students. If you have a group that will exceed this number, please contact Karissa Zastrow (zastrowk@ntc.edu) to discuss.
New this year: If you are a high school student that is home-schooled or your school is not attending you are welcome to register and come to the Wood Technology Center of Excellence from 2:00 - 3:00 PM on October 18th or 19th. Please register below.
