Prepares learners for safe operation of work site equipment. Procedures regarding welding machines, band saws, shears, grinders, oxy fuel equipment and an array of hand tools are practiced. Crane and forklift operation are introduced.

This course is offered as self-paced learning. Lab competencies will be completed in the Welding Lab at the Wausau Campus. This lab is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 12:00PM-8:00PM and Thursday 12:00PM-5:00PM. Contact advisor Houa Lee with questions.
