Provides the learner with the opportunity to enhance his or her learning through the practice of paramedicine in field and health care environment experiences with actual patients under the supervision of instructors or approved preceptors. Successful completion of this course requires the learner to meet all clinical/field requirements leading up to the paramedic field capstone phase of education.

- In-Person Labs Available Wed, Thurs 12-6pm in EMS113
Attend Your Way -- Students can join open labs on Wednesdays and Thursdays on the Wausau Campus and/or Students can complete labs at other locations as long as the skills are signed off by an approved preceptor. and/or If students have access to equipment but do not have an approved preceptor, they can videotape themselves and the instructor will grade the student's video. -- In-Person Labs Available Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 6 pm at the Emergency Services Training Center (ESTC) at the Wausau Main Campus -- Some Midterms and Final Exams will need to be completed in person at the ESTC with an approved preceptor. Students will work with their instructor to schedule these times. -- Students will work with the Clinical Coordinator to attend clinical Sessions at approved clinical and field sites.
