Equips students with the expertise and competencies necessary for administering advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care within the state of Wisconsin. Participants will be thoroughly prepared for successful completion of the NREMT AEMT certification examination. Additionally, this course fosters a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and ethical conduct within the field of emergency medical service.    Condition: Current State of Wisconsin EMT License.

In Person labs available Wednesdays & Thursdays 12-6pm in EMS113. Attend Your Way -- Students can join open labs on Wednesdays and Thursdays on the Wausau Campus and/or Students can complete labs at other locations as long as the skills are signed off by an approved preceptor. -- Students may also work with the instructor after class has started to have NTC's EMS assistants meet with students at NTC's regional campuses in Phillips, Antigo, Medford, or Spencer-- In-Person Labs Available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12- 6 pm at the Emergency Services Training Center (ESTC) at the Wausau Main Campus
