This course provides a WI licensed EMT holding a valid AEMT Training Center Training permit the opportunity to enhance learning through the practice of clinical, field, and high-fidelity simulation experiences under the supervision of instructors or approved preceptors. Successful completion of this course requires the student to meet all clinical/field competencies. This course runs concurrently with AEMT 30-531-103.
Conditions
Student has completed or is in process of completing all of the following course(s): EMEDSV 30531103 - Advanced EMT with grade greater than or equal to C (Post Secondary Grading Scheme).
Notes
- In Person labs available Wednesdays & Thursdays 12-6pm in room EMS113. Students enrolled in Advanced EMT-Clinical must also enroll in EMEDSV 30531103- Advanced EMT. Students can join open labs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on the Wausau Campus and/or Students can complete labs at other locations as long as the skills are signed off by an approved preceptor. -- Students may also work with the instructor after class has started to have NTC's EMS assistants meet with students at NTC's regional campuses in Phillips, Antigo, Medford, or Spencer-- In-Person Labs Available Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 6 pm at the Emergency Services Training Center (ESTC) at the Wausau Main Campus."
