Develops skill in gas metal arc welding. Learners use short circuit transfer and pulsed spray transfer to make fillet and groove welds in the horizontal and vertical positions on sheet metal.

Notes

This class is offered as self-paced learning. Lab Competencies will be completed in the Welding Lab at the Phillips campus. The lab is open Mondays/Tuesdays, 3:00PM – 8:00PM and Wednesday/Thursday 4:00PM-8:00PM.
